On 31 March 2026, in Mindat Town (Mindat township, Mindat district, Chin state), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike using a jet fighter from Tada-U Air Base, dropping two bombs at approximately 12:00 pm. Despite there being no active fighting in the area, the airstrike damaged houses, including the Rural Development Department office building located in Shwe Pyin Ward. Casualties unknown.
