Around 1 April 2026 (as reported), Nigerian troops triggered an IED suspected to have been planted by IPOB/ESN in the Ubaha community near Isseke (Ihiala, Anambra) which exploded. They stepped on the IED during a three-day security operation in the region. There were no casualties.
