On 31 March 2026, Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) conducted 8 drone strikes targeting Erbil City (Erbil), using Shaded-136 drones. The strikes came in two waves, with 5 strikes in the first wave, followed by 3 more strikes. Some of the attacks targeted the U.S. Consulate in Erbil and U.S. forces in the city. Unspecified forces (likely U.S. forces) intercepted some of the drones, but falling shrapnel caused material damage. There were no casualties.
