On 31 March 2026, Hezbollah forces in Lebanon claimed to target Shomera (Akko, HaZafon) with a rocket salvo. Sirens sounded in the area and Israeli sources confirmed that dozens of rockets were fired toward northern Israel at that time. Most of the rockets were intercepted or fell in open areas. No direct impacts were reported in the area of Shomera.
