On 25 March 2026, between Kyaung Kone and Ka Hnyet villages (coded as Ka Hnyet) (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted drone strikes and dropped two 60 mm grenades around 4 pm and 5 pm which fell and exploded at the Zee Oke monastery. 2 monastery buildings and two toilets were destroyed. There were no casualties.
