On 23 March 2026, near Kywe Kyaung village (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the People's Brother - Salin, the People's Defense Force - Minbu District Battalion - 5 and the Salin Urban Guerrilla Force attacked five Myanmar military soldiers that advanced from Kywe Kyaung village on patrol with a mine around 9 pm. 2 military soldiers were killed. 2 fatalities.
