On 26 March 2026, near Hpa Lu Lay village (Myawaddy township, Myawaddy district, Kayin state), the Myanmar military conducted a drone strike with a suicide drone at the Kyun Taw online scamming and casino compound which was controlled by the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army around 11:30 pm. 3 Chinese men were killed and 13 were injured. Some buildings were also destroyed. 3 fatalities.
