On 24 March 2026, near Maw Lel village (Gangaw township, Gangaw district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped at least six 500-lb bombs with four fighter jets at 1:22 pm and dropped two 300-lb bombs with two fighter jets around 2:43 pm at Maw Lel junction. 5 men were killed. 5 fatalities.
