On 24 March 2026, afternoon, Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched an unspecified number of ballistic missiles that directly impacted King Isa Air Base (Southern), where US forces were based. The attack resulted in the killing of 1 Moroccan national working in the UAE forces as a civilian contractor. 5 Emirati soldiers and several Bahraini soldiers sustained minor-to-moderate injuries as well. Iran claimed the attack.
