On 16 March 2026, Russian forces carried out (likely-ballistic) missile strike at the residential area in the Zaitsivska community (coded to Zaitseve, Synelnykivskyi district, Dnipropetrovsk region). As a result, 2 civilians were killed, 8 more, including 3 children injured. Around 15 private houses were destroyed and two dozen more damaged, as well as a school building and cars.
