UAV event in Ukraine on Mon 16th March 2026

On 16 March 2026, Russian Forces conducted an unidentified combination of air strikes, drone strikes, and artillery strikes on Kherson city, Kherson. In another events, early in the morning, a Russian FPV-kamikaze-drone struck a civilian car, injuring a 67-year-old driver who was taken to the hospital in serious condition in Kherson city. At noon, a Russian drone struck a civilian car in the Korabel district of Kherson city. As a result, a 38-year-old woman received fatal injuries and the driver (64-year-old) wounded. During the day, Russian strikes and shelling damaged critical and social infrastructure, residential buildings, including 2 high-rise apartment buildings and 6 private houses, a penitentiary, a gas pipeline, a private garage, cars, and injured 9 more civilians, including 1 child (coded to this event) in the Kherson region.
