Armed attack in downtown Chetumal leaves one seriously injured and two arrested. Hooded and armed men wearing counterfeit tactical vests attacked two people in the Centro neighborhood of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, leaving one of the victims in critical condition. According to official reports, the assailants were traveling in a pickup truck and a motorcycle when they opened fire near Juárez Avenue. Following a search operation, police officers arrested two men allegedly connected to the attack. Ballistic evidence was found at the scene: 15 spent cartridges.
