Mexican Army (SEDENA) Repels Armed Attack and Seizes Arsenal in Michoacán. Personnel from the Tarecuato Special Operations Brigade (B.O.I.) were attacked with gunfire in Chavinda while conducting patrols. After repelling the attack, security forces seized long guns, tactical equipment, and vehicles. The seizure included: - 7 long guns (including machine guns and AK-47s) - 1 grenade launcher attachment - 82 magazines of various calibers - 3 vehicles and 6 vests with criminal insignia. The seized material was turned over to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
