On October 10, the pyrotechnics of the Department of State Security in the region destroyed 2 munitions from the past wars, discovered by the population in the Zhytomyr region. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service in Zhytomyr region, Ukrainian News reports.

One of the messages reached the rescuers from the village. Artemisia. The man told on the phone that while collecting mushrooms in the forest, he noticed a metal object under the leaves, part of which was visible from the ground. Specialists of the State Emergency Service, who arrived at the scene, identified the ammunition as a 100 kg high-explosive aerial bomb.
