Gunmen ambushed and killed Mr. Monchai Chitkamolkan, the deputy district chief of Chanae, along with two villagers, in the middle of the night at Ban Su Khae, Moo 3, Dusongnyo Subdistrict, Chanae District, Narathiwat Province. Authorities are currently investigating the scene and pursuing the perpetrators. The motive is under investigation.
