After six days of fighting, a KIA frontline source stated that around 5:00 AM today (April 1), the military launched an intense assault using heavy artillery and drones on the Padamyar Kone base located west of Ma Mon Kaing village in the Indawgyi region of Mohnyin Township, Kachin State, which are currently held by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and allied forces.
