Municipal Police officers arrested two men during preventative patrols in the Centro and Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhoods. According to the official report, the first incident occurred around 9:10 a.m. at the intersection of Jesús García Street and Plutarco Elías Calles Avenue, where 44-year-old Francisco Antonio was stopped. Later, around 11:00 a.m., officers apprehended 30-year-old José Ignacio at the intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas Boulevard and Galilea Street after he acted suspiciously during a routine check. The following items were seized during the searches: - A 27-centimeter machete - A 20-centimeter knife. Both men were turned over to the appropriate authorities.
