Security Operation in Culiacán Results in Four Arrests and Seizure of Weapons. State and federal authorities conducted an operation in the Aeropuerto neighborhood of Culiacán that culminated in the arrest of four civilians, according to official information. The operation began when agents spotted an armed man in front of a residence. He attempted to flee but was intercepted by the officers, allowing them to conduct a search of the premises. The operation resulted in:
- 4 civilians arrested -
4 rifles (5.56 x 45 mm caliber)
- 17 magazines - 510 rounds of ammunition
- 1 tactical vest with ballistic plates
- 2 vehicles with no reported thefts. All items were turned over to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.
