Authorities cordoned off the area after a loud explosion Tuesday morning. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots and an explosion at a residence on 16 de Septiembre Street. Upon arrival, authorities found the property being used as a military encampment. A medical unit from the Ministry of National Defense responded to the scene. It has not yet been confirmed whether there were any injuries. We spoke with residents near the area, who reported that the blast caused alarm among neighbors. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
