Authorities reported an operation carried out near the community of El Molino, in the municipality of Navolato. According to official reports, the action stemmed from a chase that ended with the arrest of six people, including a minor. Weapons and tactical equipment were also seized during the operation. According to security reports, the following items were seized at the scene:
- AK-47 rifles
- An M4 carbine
- A handgun
- Magazines and more than 700 rounds of ammunition
- Tactical vests
- Tire deflation devices
- A stolen vehicle.
Authorities indicated that the detainees were turned over to the appropriate agencies for further investigation.
