On March 19, 2026, an accident occurred involving cluster munitions left behind as unexploded ordnance (UXO) by Siamese invaders. This accident resulted in the loss of life of a 42-year-old man and caused serious injuries to a 47-year-old man. Based on shrapnel evidence at the scene, the cluster munition that exploded and caused this accident was an M46 type submunition from a 155mm NR269 projectile. This explosion occurred in Boeng Sano Village, Sla Kram Commune, Svay Chek District, Banteay Meanchey Province.
