About 10 military council soldiers were killed when a column advancing from Kalay, Sagaing Region, toward Falam, Chin State, was attacked with mines, according to the CDF CDM – Siyin.

The attack occurred on March 19 at 4:30 PM near Zaw Kaung Village monastery as the column of about 300 troops, which had moved up from Kalay and departed from Bee Kan Village past Thaing Gyi Village in Teidim Township, Chin State, entered the minefield.
