SAA event in Prizren District, Suva Reka area, Kosovo on Mon 23rd March 2026

After a months-long investigation, police have cracked a serious case of narcotics trafficking.  During the operation, a van was stopped, where two bags of suspected heroin weighing about 1 kilogram were found in an improvised hiding bunker. The operation continued with the arrest of three men, as well as with the implementation of three raids. During the raids, the following were seized: over 1.8 kilograms of heroin, 14 grams of marijuana, 3 revolvers and a hunting rifle, over 260 cartridges of various calibers, a digital scale, 5 mobile phones, DVR camera equipment, 2 vehicles and other relevant equipment. The suspects were arrested and, by order of the State Prosecutor, have been taken into custody, while investigations to fully uncover the network are underway.
