Air Delivered event in Magway Region, Minhla area, Myanmar on Mon 30th March 2026
30th March 2026
On March 30, at around 4:30 a.m., a column of approximately 80 soldiers—part of a 200-strong force from Kapsa 2, 10, and 13 that had been stationed at the Dahat Pin oil field in Upper Minhla Township for 20 days—arrived at the Linkay police station by cars and motorcycles. They then advanced into Pe Rin and San Ai villages.
The military column proceeded to loot gold, silver, equipment used in oil drilling, cars, and motorcycles. They fired indiscriminately around the village with heavy and light weapons and used a drone to bomb the San Ai village school, resulting in damage to two school buildings.
At around 10:00 p.m., as the column returned to their base at the Dahat Pin oil field, revolutionary forces lying in wait near Linkay village launched an attack, leading to a heavy clash. In this battle, 11 soldiers were killed and 15 others were wounded. The injured were sent toward Upper Minhla. Additionally, one revolutionary comrade was reported killed in action during the fight.
