A military column killed a resident of Kan Pyu village in Ayadaw Township, Sagaing Region, according to a statement from the Ayadaw Township People's Defense Organization and reports from local residents.

On the morning of March 30, a terrorist military column advancing from Ayadaw town entered the vicinity of Kan Pyu and Manaw Yama villages. They opened fire on fleeing civilians, resulting in the death of one man from Kan Pyu village who was hit by gunfire.
