On 25 March 2026, overnight, an IED planted by exploded at the gate of the house of a member of Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) in Hawlwadag neighborhood in Baidoa town (Baydhaba, Bay). The IED explosion resulted into damage of the gate. There were no casualties. Al Shabaab claimed responsibility.
