On 22 March 2026, near Min Ywar Gyi San Pya village (coded as Min) (Ayadaw township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped 500-pound bombs six times with 3 jet fighters from the Meiktila and Tada-U air bases at around 10:00 pm, without an armed clash occurring. Democratic Voice of Burma and Khit Thit Media reported that 6 civilians were killed. Mizzima reported that 5 members of a people's defense force were killed. Fatalities coded as 11 (6 civilians and 5 members of the people's defense force).
