On 24 March 2026, in Sa Ne town (Kyaukpyu township, Kyaukpyu district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military troops stationed at the Taung Maw Oo naval base conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs with two suicide drones in the afternoon for the second day. Some locals were injured.
