On 27 March 2026, night, Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched 4 drones that directly impacted the Mubarak al Kabir Port (Al Jahra), and Ash Shuwaikh Port. They also launched 1 cruise missile that directly impacted the Mubarak al Kabir Port. The IRCG claimed to have carried out a drone and missile attack targeting US-Israeli 'gathering centers' on Bubiyan Island (where Mubarak al Kabir Port is located), causing a significant number of US Marine personnel 'to be killed or wounded', with the casualties transported to Salih Al-Sabah, Mohammed Al-Ahmad, and Ali Al-Salem hospitals. No other party corroborated the Iranian claims. Casualties coded as 0 following the most conservative estimate.
