UAV event in Iran, Islamic Republic of on Wed 25th March 2026

On 25 March 2026, night, U.S. forces attacked at least 4 times an ammunitions bunker of the 9th Artesh Air Force Tactical Air Base and the Tip-e Tofangdaran (1st Marine 'Imam Hossein' Brigade) and residential areas in the Chamran complex in Bandar Abbas (Bandar-Abbas, Hormozgan) causing five explosions and severe shaking of windows (coded as air/drone strikes by default). An unspecified number of navy casualties were reported, and Israel claimed that the director of the navy, Alireza Tangsiri, the head of the Navy's intelligence branch, Behnam Rezaei, and General Masib Bakhtiari, commander of Iran's First Fleet was killed in a targeted assasination. Unspecified fatalities coded as 10. US forces were coded as the main actor based on reporting that Israeli strikes focus on western and central Iran, while US operations are concentrated in the south.
