‼️The Air Operations Service of the National Army detected at 21:29 the unauthorized overflight of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova by a Shahed unmanned aerial vehicle.

✔️According to data provided by aerial surveillance systems, the drone crossed the state border from the direction of the village of Comarivka, Odessa region (Ukraine), towards the village of Şipca, Republic of Moldova.

✔️The information was also confirmed by the Ukrainian side. The aircraft was subsequently monitored over the country, being detected over several localities, including Dubăsari and Orhei, moving north at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters and an estimated speed of about 180 km/h.

✔️During the incident, the authorities acted according to established procedures. In the context of flight safety, the Civil Aeronautical Authority temporarily restricted the airspace in the northern area of ​​the country for a period of 15 minutes.

✔️Monitoring of the trajectory continued until 10:03 p.m., when the drone disappeared from radar near the town of Clișova, Orhei district.

✔️The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova were informed about the incident. Subsequently, the airspace of the Republic of Moldova was reopened at 22:18.

✔️The airspace surveillance systems of the National Army continue to monitor the airspace of the Republic of Moldova.

✔️At the same time, the institution cooperates with national institutions and specialists from neighboring countries for the safety of citizens.
