On 24 March 2026, around 1:50 a.m., Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) fired 5 ballistic missiles at the barracks of the 7th Division of the Peshmerga forces in the Sibilk area in the Khalifan subdistrict (coded to subdistrict center, Khalifan) (Rawanduz, Erbil), killing 6 Peshmerga personnel and injuring around 30 others. Another rocket struck the Kalikan village near the barracks an hour later (coded as a separate event).
