On 25 March 2026, Hezbollah forces in Lebanon claimed to target a gathering of IDF soldiers in Kiryat Shmona (Zefat, HaZafon) with a 'swarm of kamikaze drones.' Sirens sounded in the area but Israeli sources did not confirm the attempted attack or any direct hits. Also, Hezbollah forces in Lebanon fired a missile that crossed into Israeli territory and hit Kiryat Shmona (Zefat, HaZafon), damaging a house under construction but causing no casualties. Hezbollah claimed to target Kiryat Shmona around this time and a second time later in the day. No Israeli sources confirmed the attempted second attack.
