On 24 March 2026, US and Israeli warplanes (coded as MFOUS as part of the ongoing US-Iran conflict) conducted two airstrikes targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces 31st Brigade (Kataib al Tayyar al Risali) in Al Synia district (coded as Seneia city, Salah Al Din), injuring seven fighters and heavily damaging the brigade's main headquarters, security office, and special battalion facilities. The aircraft targeted also ambulances transporting the wounded. 7 injured. There were no fatalities.
