24th March 2026
On 24 March 2026, the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) targeted a camp of the Malian army and the African Corps with shell fire and kamikaze drones (likely IEDs rigged drones), in the town of Aguelhok (Adjelhoc, Tessalit, Kidal). The attack resulted in injuries to two soldiers, the town's prefect, and four fighters from the African Corps. FLA released a video from a kamikaze drone striking the military camp, stating that 10 fighters from the Africa Corps were killed, several were injured, and military equipment was destroyed. Sources from FLA have stated that the attack was carried out using two kamikaze drones, one of which hit an anti-tank missile launcher and an anti-drone radar system, and the second hit a bunker housing the fighters of the Africa Corps.
