Around 22 March 2026 (between 22 - 23 March), ENDF shelled unspecified targets with ZU-23 anti-aircraft rifle, in Dikul Arba and Beg Menkir Kebeles in Takusa Woreda (location coded to the admin center, Delgi, Takusa, Central Gondar, Amhara). The ENDF deployed mechanized and infantry soldiers to the area in a bid to regain control of Shawira town, which Fano took over from state forces on 22 February 2026 (coded separately). Casualties unknown.
