On 15 March 2026, between Min Kone and Oe Bo villages (coded as Min Kone) (Shwebo township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a mine exploded and injured three civilians (a 55-year-old man, his wife and their son in law) after stepping on the mine planted by the Myanmar military at a bridge near the military checkpoint around 6 pm while passing through on motorcycles.
