On 20 March 2026, in Wetlet township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Madaya (PaKaPha) - Heavy Weapon Force and local resistance forces attacked the Myanmar military troops that advanced to the east of the township with 81 mm heavy weapons.
