On 15 March 2026, a Grenade Launcher Machine (GLM) type military ammunition exploded at a resident's house in Atubul Dol village, Wer Tamrian district (West Maluku Tenggara regency, Maluku province). The police were still investigating the origin of the ammunition. Two residents died, and several others were injured.
