On 19 March 2026, the Pakistani military forces fired artillery shells that hit a vehicle in the Dukalam Bagcha area of the Nari district (Kunar province). One source stated that a woman and a child were killed and three others injured. Other reports indicated that all five occupants were killed, while some cited at least one fatality. Fatalities coded as 1 based on lowest estimate. Pakistani military forces fired another round of artillery shells in the Dukalam locality. However, there were no casualties.
