On 19 March 2026, around 2:00am Abu Dhabi time, suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched an unspecified projectile (coded as drone based on previous activity) that directly impacted an unnamed ship in the Gulf of Oman, around 11 nm east of Khor Fakkan (coded to the Coast of Khor Fakkan) (Sharjah, Ash Shariqah). The projectile caused a fire on the ship, and the ship crew had to be evacuated, with 15 crew members being picked up by a nearby ship. The captain of the ship was reported missing. Casualties unknown.
