On 17 March 2026, around 3:00am Abu Dhabi time, unspecified military forces intercepted an unspecified number of projectiles fired by suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default). As a result of the interceptions, shrapnel fell on the Gas Al Ahmadiah LPG tanker (IMO: 9849629) in the Gulf of Oman, around 23 nm east of Al Fujayrah. The attack caused minor structural damage to the ship, which was anchored at the time. There were no injuries or fatalities.
