On 16 March 2026, Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) fired at least one ballistic missile that fell in an open area in central Israel. Coded to Tel Aviv. Iranian IRGC forces fired two missile salvos, each consisting of a small number of missiles, toward central Israel in the evening. Most of the missiles were intercepted (coded separately), while the rest fell in open areas. No casualties occurred.
