On 17 March 2026, Hezbollah forces fired tens of missiles and explosive-laden drones towards the north of Israel, some of which landed in open areas, while the rest were intercepted, coded to Nazareth (Yizreel, HaZafon). No casualties reported. Hezbollah forces claimed to have targeted the following location across northern Israel at this time: Kiryat Shmona, Metula, Malkia, Dishon, Avivim, Kfar Blum, Ramot Naftali, Zarit, Shtula, Shomera, Even Menachem, Beit Hillel, Meron Base, Giva Base, Dado Base, Ein Zetim Base, Samson Camp, Amiad Base, Maalot, Misgav Am, Haifa naval base, Atlit Base, Misgav Am.
