On 18 March 2026, an Israeli drone fired four missiles at a car on the coastal road in Sidon (Sayda, South), killing 2 civilians, including a Civil Defense member who was inspecting vehicles nearby, and injuring another. An Israeli drone also struck a car in Nejmeh Square in Sidon near al Zaatari mosque. Casualties unknown. Total fatalities were at least 2.
