On 19 March 2026, US and Israeli warplanes (coded as MFOUS as part of the ongoing US-Iran conflict) conducted airstrikes targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces 31st Brigade (Kataib al Tayyar al Risali) checkpoint near an airport in K2 Air Base in Al Synia (location unknown, coded as Seneia city, Salah Al Din) and then hampering evacuation efforts by targeting ambulances as they tried to reach the injured. Several members of the PMF were injured and 1 killed. 1 fatality.
