On 20 March 2026, five drones launched by likely by Saraya Awliya Al Dam, which is part of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, targeted logistics headquarters, which supports the US embassy, at the Baghdad International Airport (Baghdad). At least two of them were shot down by the air defense. Casualties unknown.
