On 19 March 2026, RSF fighter drones targeted Al Kouwa (Al Gitaina, White Nile). A fuel tank was destroyed. Many civilians were wounded. The governor of White Nile banned holding Eid prayers in public squares and fields, and directed that the prayers be performed only inside mosques.
