Rocket event in Kayin State, Thandaunggyi area, Myanmar on Fri 27th March 2026

Five rockets were fired at a ceremony being held for Armed Forces Day at the terrorist military’s Bayinnaung Military Training School in Thandaunggyi, Kayin State, an official from the Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) told Khit Thit Media.

On March 27 at approximately 7:05 AM, BWM carried out "Mission 54," launching five 107mm shock missiles at the venue of the Armed Forces Day event within the Army Combat Forces School (Bayinnaung). It is reported that four of the rockets successfully hit targets inside the training school.

This school is a primary institution for training platoon commanders, company commanders, and battalion commanders—the key pillars of the coup military group across Myanmar. The attack was launched to inflict casualties on soldiers during their Armed Forces Day celebrations.
