An official from People’s Brothers - Salin, Ko Pyi Thu, told Khit Thit Media that after two soldiers were killed in a landmine attack on a military patrol in Salin Township, Magway Division, the military retaliated by bombing a village from the air.

On March 23, at approximately 9:00 PM, revolutionary allied forces used pre-planted mines to attack a five-man Junta patrol heading south from Kywe Kyaung Village in Salin Township. Two Junta members died on the spot in the blast.
